#39 - Trust your hand
Your hand shakes and that line doesn't come straight and your sketchnote looks, ummmm.
👋 Hey, I’m Kumar and welcome to my weekly newsletter. Each week I share Sketchnote(s) on product, leadership, personal growth, and anything that helps you get started on Sketchnoting.
🪅Welcome
Hello and warm welcome to the new friends of this newsletter. If you are here the first time, take some time look at my past issues.
If you liked the content and think some of your network will like it too, help me spread the word.
Have you ever thought about how amazing your hands are? They're the result of centuries of evolution, turning from simple graspers into complex tools that can do everything from texting to creating art.
Hands: Nature's Best Mechanic
Hands are a marvel. Packed with 27 bones, muscles, and nerves, they give us the kind of control and dexterity that most species can only dream of. The opposable thumb? That’s our secret weapon, letting us grip and manipulate objects like a pro.
Building Muscle Memory
Ever heard of muscle memory? It’s when your muscles "remember" how to do tasks after you've done them a bunch of times. This applies to sketchnoting, too. Practice the same strokes over and over, and your hand will eventually do them without you even thinking about it.
Practice to Get Better
Practice, practice, practice. That's the secret to getting better at anything, including sketchnoting. Sure, you'll make mistakes, but that's part of the process. Each mistake is a lesson, helping you improve. So keep on sketching, and trust your hand - it's got this!
So, next time you pick up a pen, remember to trust in the power of your hand. It's a masterpiece of nature's design, and with a bit of practice, it can help you create your own masterpieces. You got this!
Thank you for reading Letsketchin.
