Weekly Sketchnotes by letsketchin
Hello Sketchnoter.
Believe you are doing good and in great health.
Last 2 weeks were really amazing for me in a way that I inched near to my goal of leveraging Sketchnotes to help others in various ways. My sketchnotes have found place in some of the companies walls as reference and many have started using the format in their daily lives.
All thanks to you who have encouraged me and given constructive criticism.
Keep showing your love and let me know how I can help you.
I found a secret to success 👇
I came across an interesting article which talked about steps to achieve success. Well it's known that the journey to success is more important than the actual destination be it money, destination of state of the mind.
So here I Sketchnoted the important steps to achieve success.

A wonderful gift and Sketchnote
Last week I received a wonderful gift from Ritesh in form of a book on Climate Change by Bill Gates. We became friends on twitter and he liked my style of capturing notes.
Climate Change is a problem mostly overlooked by common citizens. It is important for each one of us to understand how even a small contribution in form of switching off a light or running AC 2 degrees higher can bring a big difference. The book talks about problems and possible solutions.
With Earth Hour being observed on 27-March I have vowed to create a sketchnote of the entire book and dedicate to spreading awareness about this topic in simpler way.
Many forms of visualizing information
Being an active contributor on Twitter has so many benefits - personally and professionally. I met Sathya - @sathyanand1985 who's been actively contributing by experiments with different visual formats like infographics, mindmap, comics and sketchnotes. He compiled a Sketchnote around id. And am privileged and humbled to be have contributed in his journey.
Sketchnoters space
As an attempt to socialize and increase adoption of Sketchnotes as a note taking tool, I have started "Sketchnoters space". While it's not out there yet and am working on the details, I have created 4 important activities that will help you learn Sketchnoting
Develop visual note taking Skill by understanding tools, material and basics elements
Being motivated by sharing inspirations and stories
Provide simple and engaging practice sketch activities
Warm up Sketchnote session, wherein we can huddle to create one on an agreed topic
Let me know in reply what you think about this initiative. Am all ears to suggestions and feedback.
Live session on Sketchnote
One of the frequently asked question from the community is how to Sketchnote and that you want to learn to doodle/draw/sketch like this.
So I did a live session with some of the community members on basics of Sketchnote. Unfortunately it went unrecorded but I promise to share recorded version soon.
You can grab a high resolution version from my website www.letsketch.in
How to draw - START
And last as part of Sketchnotes space I started series called How to Draw.
The first in this series is how to draw start in a simple way. And to demonstrate I recorded the Sketchnote. I you notice it's bit shaky video (well I got to a shaky start, but did).
Watch it live in the video below.
And last but not the least
Don’t forget to turn off your lights on 27March 8:30pm
It’s Earth Hour.
That's all for this week.
Wish you good health, knowledge and happiness.
