Since 2 months.
And I am itching every week to put out something.
And every time there is this perfection bug that bites me.
The itch continues. And it’s been a vicious cycle since many weeks.
But today I decide to put it out there. For you.
For myself. Showing up here and saying that good things are on the way.
In all these silent times there is so much going on in my life along with TheSketchnoters community.
Sketching people in different poses is something I struggle with. So we got started with sketching people poses in the month of July.
In a month we would have sketched around 180 people poses collectively as community.
and then I learnt to sketch people as architects do. The silhouette using 4 point method.
We met for Monthly Meetup in Aug and shared our experiences and learnings. It was fun and gratifying to see how each one of use use Sketchnotes in our daily lives.
Month of August I started reading the book Clear Thinking and taking notes. I am experimenting with a different note taking and making method with this book. Rather than taking notes directly I focus more on reading and highlighting in different ways with some side page annotations. And then moving to Sketchnotes after finishing major section.
Plan to convert this into a visual summary.
This months AtomicSketch theme is Neurographic Art Challenge. Everyday we sketch in one of those blobs based on the prompt. And you can already see the creative chaos and structure forming.
Next month it will be Inktober x AtomicSketches. A monthly challenge of Inktober but with a twist of AtomicSketches.
Here’s how I have been feeling all this while. But then I attended a workshop in telling Personal Story in a powerful way. And that resulted into a full blown sketch session with the community to sketch our own powerful personal stories. Of converting our unique life experiences into meaningful stories.
So that’s what life’s been so far.
