Sketchnote on culture of accountability
👋 Hey, I’m Kumar and welcome to my weekly newsletter. Each week I share Sketchnote(s) on product, leadership, personal growth, and anything that helps you get started on Sketchnoting.
🪅Welcome
Hello and warm welcome to the new friends of this newsletter. If you are here the first time, take some time look at my past issues.
If you liked the content and think some of your network will like it too, help me spread the word.
For my old friends, did you miss the newsletter? It didn’t come through for 2 weeks. Well I was traveling and then got busy with office work, catching up you know.
And I am back with this weeks’ newsletter on about accountability. Not a co-incidence but this topic came to my mind as I was thinking on my discipline and commitment to send out a newsletter every week.
🥁Culture of Accountability
In the realm of professional life, a culture of accountability is like having a bunch of folks who step up and own their actions.
It's all about taking responsibility and being honest about stuff.
For instance, imagine Alex messes up a project deadline. In an accountability-driven setup, Alex doesn't hide it or blame someone else. They say, "Oops, my bad," learn from it, and figure out how to fix things.
This vibe isn't just about avoiding blunders; it's also cheering for wins. So, when Jenna hits a home run with her presentation, she gets props, and everyone knows she nailed it. This culture isn't just a free-for-all, though. It's about folks understanding their role, working together, and speaking up if things go haywire. Leaders here don't just point fingers but also say, "Hey, team, I goofed," if they drop the ball. It's like a safety net – slip-ups get acknowledged, and successes get celebrated.
All in all, a chill culture of accountability breeds trust and makes the workplace a cool place to be.
Leader or not here’s a sketchnote on how you can create culture of accountability for yourself or your team.

That’s all I have for today.
