Celebrating 3rd year, freebies, and change in newsletter schedule
👋 Hey, I’m Kumar and welcome to my weekly newsletter. Each week I share Sketchnote(s) on product, leadership, personal growth, and anything that helps you get started on Sketchnoting.
Celebrating 3rd anniversary of Letsketchin
20th June 2020 was the date, I officially registered the domain www.letsketch.in and also on twitter. The objective was to share my learning and build habit with social accountability.
When I started I had 0 twitter followers, 0 newsletter subscribers, 0 posts.
All I had was curiosity, consistency, and hope to learn and share.
After 3 year I have you reading my stuff every week. This newsletter goes to 500 of you every week and many of you have been an amazing support in reading and going through what I share.
So a BIG thank you to all of you.

Change in newsletter schedule
Starting next week I will be sending out 2 newsletters in a week.
When I started this newsletter it was bi-weekly and had lot of information. It was like the audience would sit back and read the newsletter while having coffee for 10 mins.
But we have limited attention span and the analytics showed that the audience dropped off after half the section and the average time spent was less than 2-3 mins.
That’s when I made the schedule to 1 week. Another reason was for me to have better consistency in creating the content. Earlier it was all happening in last days of publishing newsletter. With weekly I have become a disciplined content creator. The analytics showed that readership and subscription increased after change in schedule.
Having run this schedule for almost 3 months I see that the readership has hit the plateau calling for further breaking down of the content of newsletter in 2 parts.
So next week on I’ll send out 2 newsletter with specific content for each day
