Let's Sketch in - Issue #25
Sketchnotes on the Kaizen and May I Sketch update.
👋 Hey, I’m Kumar and welcome to my weekly newsletter. Each week I share Sketchnote(s) on product, leadership, personal growth, and anything that helps you get started on Sketchnoting.
Kaizen - Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement
I wanted to chat with you about this cool concept I recently came across called "Kaizen." It's all about making small, continuous improvements in our lives. Instead of aiming for big, drastic changes, Kaizen encourages us to focus on tiny steps that lead to long-term progress.
Think about it: every day we wake up, we have countless opportunities to incorporate Kaizen into our routines. Whether it's learning a new skill, getting healthier, or becoming more organized, Kaizen suggests taking small, manageable actions consistently.
The beauty of Kaizen lies in its simplicity. By breaking down our goals into bite-sized tasks, we remove the overwhelming pressure and make progress feel achievable. It's like taking baby steps towards a better version of ourselves.
The best part? Kaizen is flexible and adaptable. You can apply it to any aspect of your life, be it your career, relationships, or personal growth. It's not about perfection, but about the journey of continuous improvement.
So, let's embrace the Kaizen mindset together! Start by identifying one small change you want to make today, and then build on it over time. Remember, progress is progress, no matter how small.
Unknowingly I have been following Kaizen in my sketchnotes. So I thought to Sketchnote about it and share with you.
Change for the BETTER.
May I Sketch update - completion and celebrations
We completed yet one whole month of MayISketch. And I am very happy to say that 4 of the participants including me Sketchnoted everyday for the entire month to create 10 sketchnotes on 4 different themes.
We learnt about different aspects of our growth - Mental, Physical, Relationships, and Finance. All while learning to Sketchnote.
To celebrate the completion we’ll be meeting in person in Bangalore, India this Saturday. Looking forward.
Check out the sketchnotes done till date.
That’s all I have for today.
Have a wonderful week ahead Sketchnoting.
