Let’s jump in today's issue
Weekly Warmup session
Sketchnote of the week ✍🏼
Atomic Sketches
Weekly warm up - Sketching People
One of the biggest challenges in learning anything new is consistency and contextual guidance. To make it easier for you to learn to Sketchnote, I initiated Weekly Warmup sessions for Sketchnotes.
The agenda is simple. Introduce a basic sketchnote technique, practice the technique hands one, and then do a live sketchnote together. Exchange ideas, constraints during the session and learn by sharing our knowledge.
Here’s a glimpse of what was covered in the last session
Watch a quick short on my YouTube channel.
Weekly warmup sessions are going to be schedule every Saturday morning IST (India Standard time).
The next session is planned for 18-March, Saturday. This will be 3rd in a row.
Here’s the invite.

Atomic Sketches
I have also started a group that helps us to build habit of Sketching by giving a minute of our time everyday. The group is called Atomic Sketches.
I won’t spam you for anything other than Sketchnotes :-)
Sketchnote of the week
This weeks Sketchnote is by Eva Lotta Lamm summarising the talk on Decision Systems by Kim Goodwin
I like following about this sketchnote
Use of Colors - If you observer there are only 3 - Black, Gray, and Red
Ample whitespace or spacing between information chunks
Information chunking -
Line breaks - Any line in the sketchnote is less than 3 words
Flow - the Sketchnote clearly shows the flow of presentation and puts information in sequence. While it’s not necessary to always have a flow, here it allows us to connect the dots.
Eva has been my inspiration to pick up Sketchnoting. Check out her works on Eva's website.
Have a wonderful week ahead Sketchnoting.
