Self discipline is a quality that is won through practice

Getting started in sketchnotes
Most people want to Learn Sketchnotes or want to Start Practicing it.
They dream of doing it, but they never find the time or the proper structure to do it.
You can't blame them.
Most people have a job, money to make and family to feed, and don't have the time for passion projects.
But you on the other hand just want to sketchnote something cool today and eventually want to make that a practice where you sketchnote something cool most days and hope to learn the craft.
But what if we can do something really cool in 2 mins?
Here's the thing,
You can learn to sketchnote well if it's extremely Small and Specific.
Instead of trying to master the entire ocean called 'sketchnotes', you can pick and practice specific mini-skills like objects, human postures, facial expressions, etc.
And you can actually learn that skill in a very short span of time.
And that's what 'Atomic Sketches' is all about.
It's extremely small, specific, removes unnecessary information and helps one learn to Learn the basics of Sketchnoting under 2 mins.
Even if you don't want to learn Sketchnoting, you can try this for any other skill you want to learn.
2 Minutes of pure focus and deliberate learning everyday will always beat 2 hours of "random practice".
June AtomicSketches
For June AtomicSketches we took the challenge of visualising sound. How does a sound look and not sound !
The idea of visualizing sound struck me while listening to a podcast 20khertz. The way sounds are described on this podcast got me thinking of taking this as challenge.
So June was all about visualizing day to day sounds in variety of scenarios and objects and animals and humans that make it.
Here are some of the community entries of the entire month.

That’s all for today. Have a great week ahead.
Best,
