Sketchnote of Shreyas Doshi and details of Bangalore meetup to celebrate MayISketch challenge
👋 Hey, I’m Kumar and welcome to my weekly newsletter. Each week I share Sketchnote(s) on product, leadership, personal growth, and anything that helps you get started on Sketchnoting.

Today’s newsletter missed my regular timeline of Monday for couple of reasons. I want to test a new day to check on the adoption, open rate, and I was waiting for an amazing sketchnote video story on Product Thinking.
In this newsletter we will look at
Product Thinking
MayISketch challenge update
Product thinking
I am a designer by profession and product person by work. In my day to day work I collaborate with designers and product manager and that makes me what I am. As a designer I am always thinking of user needs and how to cater to it while giving a delightful experience. As a product person my objective is to make sure that the design just doesn’t remain in the files. They reach users in a timely manner, so that we get to know how user uses the solution and whether it’s able to earn for our bread and butter ;-) And this is a journey.
As a founder or product person, you gotta love the unpredictable journey. It's not just about grit and passion; you also need skills like know-how, initiative, and clear thinking to handle the unknown. Be prepared to tackle hurdles, rethink what you know, and constantly learn new stuff. So, where do you begin with all that?
Here’s a sketchnote and visual walkthrough that will help you understand the journey. It’s captured from conversation between Aishwarya Ashok and Shreyas Doshi.
The Founders Foyer is a podcast of Aishwarya talking to founders about their process, personal story, and anything that sparks creator light.
More such sketchnotes are on the way.

MayISketch challenge update
Together we created around 140 AtomicSketches, 24 full blown Sketchnotes in just 30 days. That’s almost 1 Sketchnote a week.
That’s the power of community.
We came together virtually to celebrate completion of this challenge with Thank you notes, Kudos and lots of inspirations.
We had an active participation by Jatin Kapadia, Kanupriya, Ankur, Soumya Mishra, Anushka Srivastava, Daisy Fernandes.
You can see how consistency was recognised by many and stood as an inspiration.
And post celebration we did some retrospective on the challenge talking about what worked for all, what didn’t and new ideas for the next month long challenges.
New Learning, Expanded Perspective, and Community driven action
There was an ask for similar challenges with same format and little modifications in the future. So stay tuned for an Awesome August challenge.
