3May2025 - Weekly Warmup roundup
April AtomicSketches reflections, MayISketch challenge, Goal Barrier visual Framework, and Live Sketchnote of Breaking Bad Habit
Hello Sketchnoters.
What does it feel like to be among other sketchnoters sharing learning, experiences, and sketchnoting together.
In the last Sketchnoters Weekly Warmup meetup was a refreshing reminder of what happens when creativity meets community.
We began with light sketching warm-ups and reflections from the #AtomicSketches April challenge. It was incredible to hear how a simple daily sketching habit helped many of us find clarity, confidence, and consistency in our creative process.
April AtomicSketches was all about playing with scale and proportions.
May month AtomicSketches challenge - MayISketch
#MayISketch challenge started in 2023 and this is the third edition. We sketch daily on different prompts that align with our personal growth areas.

Here are few entries of May 2025 so far
Whether you’re a designer, product thinker, or just someone who loves doodling, this challenge is a great way to stay inspired and grow.
Visual Framework practice - Goal and Barriers
The heart of the session was the “Goal & Barriers” visual framework—a practical tool to map what’s getting in the way of our goals. Seeing everyone sketch their blockers and paths forward sparked rich discussions and ‘aha!’ moments.
I got inspired by this visual sketch from the book Presto Sketching by Ben Crothers.
And then I used the content of a TEDx talk to fit in this visual framework. The talk is by Master Shi Heng Yi on how to gain Self Mastery by overcoming 5 hindrances. This talk is nicely sketchnoted by community member Jatin Kapadia.
Check out the framework explanation in live action.
Live Sketchnote - A simple way to break Bad Habit
A standout moment? The live sketchnote capturing TEDx talk by Judson Brewer on breaking Bad Habits, in real-time. Watching thoughts take visual form added depth and delight to the whole experience.
Thank you
Big thanks to everyone who joined, shared, and sketched.
Let’s keep the momentum going—one visual at a time. 💡📒
