Hello Sketchnoters.
What does it feel like to be among other sketchnoters sharing learning, experiences, and sketchnoting together.
In the last Sketchnoters Weekly Warmup meetup was a refreshing reminder of what happens when creativity meets community.
We began with light sketching warm-up exercise.
Followed by discussion regarding the challenges in sketchnoting. Participants share that they find it challenging to create clean sketchnotes and it becomes messy.
Well there are stages of sketchnoting. The first stage is note taking which is always messy. I shared examples of some of my notes taken live during meetings.
The second stage is note making in which we make connections between different information chunks, highlight some and draw inferences. And if needed for future reference create a second stage clean sketchnotes. Most of the times we see this in the social media and not the mess that’s gone behind it.
Read some of my earlier posts on the the stages of sketchnotes.
Empathy map for relationship building
In the next section of warmup I talked about how Empathy map can be used to build a healthy relationships. Starting by knowing ourselves first and then the people we deal with.
This week’s theme at #AtomicSketches is about Relationships
So I thought it will be great to introduce and use this visual framework for building better relationships.
Below are live sketchnotes created by Kanupriya and Tina that aptly summarises the topic.
Learning Typography using basic objects
In this section we practised creating fonts by sketching using the characteristics of daily basic objects.

Thank you
Big thanks to everyone who joined, shared, and sketched.
Let’s keep the momentum going—one visual at a time. 💡📒
